Rich-N-Tone™ MicroHen Duck Call

  • Produces the squeaky, raspy, high-pitched sounds of a young hen
  • Made of Bocote wood
  • Only 3-3/4″ long
  • Requires little effort to blow
  • Perfect complement to other Rich-N-Tone duck calls
  • No voice changes here – the MicroHen Duck Call by Rich-N-Tone is deliberately undersized in order to produce the squeaky, raspy, high-pitched sounds of a young hen. A softer wood that allows for the production of softer, deeper, mellower sounds than more dense woods, Bocote is noted for its tannish yellow color with dramatic dark brown to almost black striping. A perfect complement to other Rich-N-Tone duck calls due to its different sound, this call is also ideal for late season calling, timber, or imitating young mallard hens.
    Available: Bocote Wood.

Hey folks Jim Rhon quits with rnt Kyle’s over here with the folks at maxsa Prairie Wayne’s talking about the different call models. It rich in town right. Now we’re going to go over the micro hen. And a macro here the micro here kind of came from years ago. We come up with a call. We called the baby cow. That Bush made one years ago then. One for folks that were. They just had a newborn child. They were looking for something commemorate. We had a blue and a pink. One well lo and behold. Several guys got to blowing them with the super short board super short barrel. And loved we come up with a col model called the micro here the micro here is a neat little old call it’s really cool sounding got a big sound for a little call well. Some people like a double reed over a single reach so. We wanted to have another double reed dad so. We made the macro here the only difference between the micro hand of the micro hand is. You see the barrel is a little bigger looks like a junior richandtim version. And it’s a double reed not a single Reed so it’s got a little different sample to Regions a single.

Both of them do a great job you’re looking for a couple neat little small calls to add to your arsenal it’s got big sound to them check out the rnc micro head. And macro hand at max parent.

Everybody this is Matt we’ll survive twelve. Ithought I’d do kind of fun video for you guys. Iwent out and purchased a duck commander duck call. Iwas gonna do a quick review on. It for you in case you guys were wondering what they look like. And the breakdown of them. Everything now basically. This is the duck commander triple threat duck call I’m not gonna lie to. You guys and tell that I’m a duck hunter but. Something I would like to look into looks like a lot of fun. Ilove trap shooting so. Iwould actually like to get into duck huntin so. Iwent out and purchased. This duck call here. And like I said it’s a triple threat. And I’ve already opened. It up but I wanted to show. You guys in the package. And then you guys haven’t seen here’s the package it’s got instructions on the back on how to clean. Everything set to the side here. This first look. It just looks like a hunk of plastic little cylinder tube basically. It has four different parts inside. You have your soundboard here. And then your triple Reed setup. And then they do come with a little well eyelid in there. That keeps them all three together. You can take you know take. This apart clean these Reeds. They are plastic so. You got your triple Reed set up. And then what most duck calls have is a cork. This one’s actually made a little bit of rubber then. You have your outer port. You guys can see you might not be able to is.

This triple-threat on the side. And then DC on the other side so looks pretty well-made. Idid purchase it at a store called Bass Pro Shop. It was about 3995 which is kind of expensive but. You guys hear it you’ll understand why so basically. They put it back together take your little rubber stop here put well put your read in first triple read write on the soundboard there take your little rubber stopper. Whatever you want to call. It little wedge then. You slide it back in close. That not bad guys we’ll give. You guys a quick little preview of what sounds like basically. What I do was you know put my cut my hand over the end. And just blow through. Iblow open my hand up not bad. This actually sounds really good I’m gonna keep practicing and see.

Ican get any better with sounded. More like a duck but. It sounds great not a bad little setup for 40 bucks so. Ithought I’d do this fun little video for you guys. Iknow it’s kind of off the theme of what I normally do but. Iwas excited about the stuff Cole. Ithought you guys might want to see. You guys are interested um just send. Me a email PM whatever. And I’ll let you know. It works out for me so hope. You guys enjoyed this is Matt with survivalist 2012 peace.

All right guys first duck-call review ever the duck commander triple threat that’s right can y’all see. Even know duck commander triple said. One of the absolute best calls. Ihave ever owned. This thing sounds great. Now I’ve already used. Ijust put it back in the box for show but I’m gonna go ahead. And open it up for you it’s as simple as. Ias simple as you just open. And there’s no glue no. Nothing so that’s sort of. You on the packaging hundred-percent that’s good. All right here’s a duck call itself. Idon’t know I can see. It hello let me turn around the camera come on. All right well it will almost tell them okay. All right we’re okay so here. We have the triple threat right here. It won’t focus hold on okay. Iwon’t focus but it’s their triple threat it’s a very nice call very well-made it’s got the triple read the sound board no rubber I’ll open.

It up here in a minute. You can just pull this apart but. This thing sounds really good okay I’ll get in front here alright my review on. Though from a 1 to 10. This is definitely a 10 as far as. Iknow so far so real quick I’m gonna give. You a little show of. Me grunting in me saying what Phil says to say 10 so. You want the pressure the T. That out of the 10 so. You want pressor see. You don’t want to go oh oh that’s just doing or. You just blow straight air its oh oh. You want 10 what so here’s. What the OH see there’s no pressure therefore. It doesn’t sound like a duck at. All y’all better get. It alright here we go here’s with the tin man. This thing that sounds awesome hold. It upside down doesn’t matter. This thing you can dunk. It in water it’ll do. Whatever you just dunk. It in water you pay right up it’ll blow right back again. It doesn’t matter it’ll take. One condition he’ll do.

Whatever you want it to do. This little thing cost. Me 40 bucks and it’s the best forty bucks. Ihave ever spent in my life so. More time with me grunting see was doing there with the with a feed call for y’all don’t know. This is a feed call but. You do like Phil says. You say ten instead of it’s a wonderful call you’re only taking part for you in a minute just give. Me a minute I’m gonna show. How awesome this thing really is. All right hold on oh. Ihate one-man camp. All right guys I’m back from back in back sorry okay here’s a triple threat no to show. How to take it apart it’s very simple very easy to do probably a four-year old could do. It maybe not three they might not have the strength cause.

It is a little tight. That moisture gets in there. It takes us okay anyway. You have to do is you just pull. These two pieces apart. What I do is I just like. That well carefully. You might lose the reed. And the little rubber thing okay so here. You have the soundboard which is just plain old plastic. Nothing special just the whole thing is plastic but. You have the barrel which. You do look very closely. This side is bigger. This side is smaller. Ialways use the big in to blow in so. Ialways I’m gonna put. That way see how mine there’s a little bubble. Idon’t know if y’all could see. Ihad doubt you could but your cam is a little bubble right there that’s. What I use I can’t really tell. One time when the small end is I’ll use.

You have your triple Reed’s right here. Ican get okay there. You go there’s a triple Reed’s right there. And that’s what creates the awesome combination so. You got the triple Reed’s. And then you have the little rubber stopper thing I’m called a plug. All right so what you do to put. It back together is. You take your Reed’s right here on your soundboard. When you’re putting it back together there are a lot of people. Isee make mistakes on doing this. You like can you’ll see a little bend to. That at the top there’s a bend to. You don’t put that part facing up on the sound board with them facing upward like. That little curve it’s not going to sound the same so. What you do is I don’t think y’all can see but there is a little bump right there. And that’s you tell. Is the top so what you do is. You take your Reed you push. All the way back on the sound board like so then. You take your stopper put the big end in there.

It is curved inward y’all can see it’s got a little curve to the top so. You push that up to set but make sure. You read is centered on. Each side so you don’t so. It sounds a lot better. That so again you push. It to the sound board put your stopper there. And since I’m gonna use a little end. It has a little bubble right there. Ijust found it very easily. What I like to do is. Ilike to have my letters on. Each side and then my main call centered with. Idon’t know that makes a lot simple OTT of sense but I’m taking this. Iwant my Reed everything to be equal with the DC the duck commander little letters right there. Iwant the reed to be flat. Even with it okay so be careful your Reed will come Jagger. If you’re not careful so.

What you do about you just hold on. And be very patient carefully sliding it in their hold on my Reed’s coming out yeah. You have to watch out for. That reef but anyway. You just slowly go in their slowly push. Now not a lot of pressure. You make sure there’s a little piece of black right there go in too far. It just gonna start scratching this. And it’ll just lose its tone so there. It is sounds all the same. Ilike the tendon better. Although the quacks good for clothes stuff the the grunt. Idon’t know if y’all can tell a lot of difference but I’ll try to emphasize a ten a little bit. And the grunt which is the quack. And the Oh without me ten with no pressure note it’s just over.

And over it’s not doing anything so y’all go look at Phil Robertson’s. How to use a duck call so. Ijust showed you can’t figure. It out he’ll explain. More depth and depth to. This is my review on the duck commander triple threat. Ihope y’all enjoy it go out. It at $40 again this thing from 1 to 10 it’s a 10 definitely for sure y’all are gonna enjoy. This very easy I hope y’all like it.
